By 1934, Frank Buck's popularity and fame were awesome. He
replaced Amos and Andy with his own radio program during the famous duo's first
vacation in five years. With his pleasant tenor voice, inflected with only a
hint of Texas, he was the most in-demand guest on every radio show in the United
States. Here he is heard on Duffy's Tavern, March
